The official language of the Symposium is English and all presentations will be made in English.

CLIMATE
The weather in Glasgow in June is generally comfortable, with an average temperature range of 12-23°C. Occasional rain is likely.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATION 
Kenes International is the official agent for the 10th International Symposium on Pneumococci and Pneumococcal Disease in Glasgow, and will be offering special reduced rates for accommodation. More information regarding hotel accommodation will be available on the Hotel page.

VISA INFORMATION

Most Europeans do not require an entry visa for the UK. Please consult the UK Embassy or Consulate nearest to you for specific details relating to visas.

LIABILITY & INSURANCE
The Congress Secretariat and Organizers cannot accept liability for personal accidents or loss of/damage to the private property of participants and accompanying persons. Participants are advised to take out their own personal travel and health insurance for their trip.

GUEST ATTENDANCE PO​​LICY
All event activities (including educational sessions, meal functions, exhibit hall, etc.) are exclusively reserved for registered attendees. Non-registered guests (including children, family members, colleagues, etc.) are not allowed in any of the event areas. Badges provided at registration are required for entrance into all functions and will be strictly enforced.

As Organizers of the 10th International Symposium on Pneumococci and Pneumococcal Diseases taking place in Glasgow, UK from June 26 to June 30 we entrusted TWT srl, Rome, to collect the applications from the Italian Pharmaceutical Companies and file them with the Italian Ministry of Health agency AIFA, in compliance with the instructions given by the Legislative Order 219 of the 24th april 2006 – art. 124. ​
